I love working with ALL those who want to change their lives not only physically but mentally & spiritually! That being with me in the gym feels like another home to gain strength, release anxiety & find peace.
What makes you passionate about fitness / why did you become a trainer ?
I’ve always wanted to help people and spent years trying to figure out what my place or calling rather would be! Although I’ve always been physically active as a teen such as track & field, basketball.. into my adult years biking, roller-skating, aerial work… It hit me once I started to see myself as a bodybuilder. Not to just become a trainer specifically for that but in general! My love for people and hearing the difference that I’ve made to help them accomplish their personal goals is the most amazing feeling in the World! This isn’t just a job/career for me, it is a gift that I want to give to others.
What’s your favorite exercise or workout style ?
I honestly don’t have a favorite workout because I enjoy ALL forms such as dumbbell work, kettlebell & machine as well as cardio. Everything has a purpose & place to assist in becoming the best version of ourselves.
What’s your favorite client success story ?
I have a client from last year who was on the verge of having surgery because of what she described as FUPA which is Fat in the Upper Pubic Area. As she saw my journey and how I’ve changed in the gym, she trusted in me to assist her. We started in May by September! 3 days /wk with Intense workouts) I’m not watching her, I’m right beside her doing the exercises it was what she needed.. along with proper eating! The smile that comes across her face til this very day! Fills my heart with joy because not only the fat was gone from that area but having the alternate days where we do upper body arms, chest/back & lower body work she lost weight & toned.
What’s your favorite cheat meal or food ?
My family is from Haiti & the Dominican Republic so believe it or not it’s actually rice and beans with Oxtails, chicken, goat or beef. Prepared rooted from my country, Jamaica or African.. It may not seem like a cheap meal, but there’s a lot of seasoning, sodium & salt added which isn’t as healthy as it may seem lbvs.
What do you enjoy doing outside the gym, favorite hobbies, etc ?
I am a mother of a 8yr daughter named Isabella so spending time with her is very precious to me. I do acrylic paintings love creating scenery. My daughter is also an artist she loves to draw & color so we create together. I’m a writer in works of becoming an author. Love reading, trying all forms of sports and moving activities.
